Long Drache China um 1900. Metallguss, patiniert. Kapitale Statue eines chinesischen Drachen mit dem Kopf eines Büffels, dem Geweih eines Hirsches, dem Gebiss eines Wolfes, dem Körper einer Schlange, den Schuppen eines Karpfens und den Klauen eines Adlers. Sein Körper windet sich auf einem Sockel aus Wolken. in der einen Klaue hält er eine sogenannte Drachenkugel oder auch Perle, die sowohl sein Herz als auch die Sonne symbolisieren kann. Capital statue of a Chinese dragon with the head of a buffalo, the antlers of a stag, the teeth of a wolf, the body of a snake, the scales of a carp and the claws of an eagle. His body winds on a base of clouds. In one claw he holds a so-called dragon ball or pearl, which can symbolise both his heart and the sun. Size approx. 115 x 60 cm, height approx. 107 cm.
